Hey all!!
The subject has come up in SGA chat in-game, and people seem to want to try for some old raids and achievements. I myself being pretty enthusiastic about achievements am one of those, but I feel like I'm not the only one.
There are a lot of different groups raiding regularly as I'm aware, and my own time isn't exactly unlimited. However, I am willing to lead a raid on the following possible days:
Tuesday between noon and 4pm server Wednesday between 1pm and 10pm server (that's a real open day for me) Friday evenings from 5 server onward, every other week Saturdays or Sundays (but not both in one weekend)
That's the best times for myself. What I'd love to hear from you guys on is when would be good for you. As far as I'm concerned I can simply get online, send out the call, and do this on any or all of these days. I'm interested in trying to do this when people will actually have time for a possibly long winded raiding session.
As far as "requirements" - I'd dearly love to use Mumble if at all possible. Ventrilo will work in a pinch, but Mumble is my own preference. If you don't have a threat meter, don't blame anyone if you get killed. I'd also prefer for DPS meters to either not be run or only be brought up into raid chats at the end of the raid if you simply must brag (my husband does this all the time, it's just distracting during raids).
What raids will we do? Well, I'd like to start with a few old familiar favorites. There was talk of doing 40-man raids from Classic WoW, as well as talk of Karazhan and Zul Aman. I am fine with whatever. If you want to go, please have at least some idea of one or more bosses in the raid instance. I'd prefer full clears wherever it's feasible.
So let me know what you think, who wants to go on what characters, and all! If nothing else occurs, I plan to start attempting Karazhan and other TBC instances and raids for Berylla's rep and achievements next week - so just give me a holler here or in game!

*sigh* I suppose Mumble went away while I was incommunicado for a while? Oh well. I have access to a Vent server via my own guild. Or if someone wants to offer the services of a TS channel that would work as well. So long as I can yell at you all! :P
Friday, Saturday and Sunda are good times for Ombrenoire. I have AQ40 and MC to finish up in vanilla. There's Mag, Sunwell, and ZA for BC (not to mention a few BC heroics).
Could we extend this to include the completion of Glory of the Hero too? That would go a long way for people.

I don't have a problem doing Glory of the Hero - so long as we all agree to be patient with each other! Some of these places I personally have never been to; while I have been and will continue to read up on them, reading only does so much for the understanding.
Oh, and as far as who to bring: whoever you want. I want achievements on Berylla specifically, but if needed I can also bring in Aladrea (resto/boom druid); Calakiiri (BM hunter), or even my "newb" 80s if for some reason you wanna suffer.*
Folks are welcome to bring more than one character, so long as they do us all a favor and stick with one character per run if at all possible.
*My two "newbs" are Tarrma and Selannia. Tarrma is still a prot warrior but her gear is extremely basic, just at Defense cap and still needs work. Selannia is a Blood death knight with even worse gear. If you don't believe me, ask Edwinfntstic. He's been kind enough to put up with them both!
