Hi everyone, I am looking at starting an Ulduar 25 run.
I will be upfront about my selfish reasons for wanting to do so: I want to finish off my Val'anyr. I need 11 more Fragments of Val'anyr, and a kill of Yogg-Saron with three or less Keepers assisting to finish it. The Fragments are a low % drop from every boss in Ulduar, with Hard Modes of the Keepers having a bit higher drop rate, and Yogg himself having a guaranteed Fragment drop.
So what's in it for you? At this point in the game the loot that drops (even from Hard Modes, aside from a trinket or two perhaps) is inferior to things you can get out of ICC 10 or even ToC. This run would interest people who have never finished Ulduar, or are interested in some of those Hard Mode achievements.
I am looking to have the run on Saturday evenings beginning at 8pm server time or so, and running to 11pmish. I understand that this time slot will not work for everyone, but I also have to keep my wife happy. :D
Even at today's average gear levels, Yogg and Hard Modes are not necessarily a breeze, so I am looking for people who are geared and prepared for the content. With the ease of getting Triumph emblems, it shouldn't be difficult to gear for the zone.
I would also expect everyone to be familiar with the fights, even if you've never experienced them. Tankspot makes great video guides. I don't want to spend a lot of time explaining what each boss does.
At this point I'm looking for DPS and healers, with possibly one tank opening. I'm hoping that I can get the members of my 10 man raid to help me out here. :D
